We are thankful for so many things as the holiday season approaches, but especially thankful for the chance to help the wonderful patients we treat each day. I hope you were one of the 120 patients who received a Thanksgiving turkey from us on Monday, November 24th for our “Turkey Day Thank You.” What a great day!

What makes December special for you?  Is it Christmas? The coming of family together? Exchanging gifts with friends and family? Knowing it’s Jesus’ birthday? The changes in the weather? Every one has their own reason why they find December so special, right? 

In my own life, I find it special because I know so many nice people like you, I get to serve people who need a good chiropractor, and not only that, you always treat me special and I love returning the favor. 

It is indeed a blessing for me, to know you and your family.  I love the feeling when December is coming and a new year is approaching tooFor me, this is the perfect date to start doing some new and different things in my life and the office. I want to do more positive things in life, so I can improve myself and this office! ~ Dr. Leighow

Hi there! It’s that time again!

 


image002 A couple of quick things … first off CONGRATULATIONS to Kellee Kissinger (pictured) – who had the most votes in the employee competition with her Peanut Butter Apple Dessert! Did you know we had 20 different kinds of apples in our Apple Guessing contest in September?

 

Here’s a little history on the month of November.

 

November is one of four months with the length of 30 days.

 

November retained its name (from the Latin word novem meaning "nine") when January and February were added to the Roman calendar. November starts on the same day of the week as February in common years, and March every year.

 

I know this may not mean much to you right now, but most likely you’re going to know more about November than most of the U.S. population, so pat yourself on the back for reading this newsletter.

Dear Patient,

fallHi. Time for me to share some more words of wisdom with you. Here's something you will want to know. When does summer end and fall begin? Simple answer is... The official last day of Summer is September 22nd. September 23rd marks the first day of Autumn. This is not the same for every country in the world though.

Here's some more things to think about. The most amazing machine in the history of the 'natural' world is the HUMAN BODY. If you were to purchase this amazing one-of-kind machine "it" would cost Billions of dollars. In fact, more money than you'll ever have ever. And once you brought it home, you would treat it nice and reverently because of the cost, wouldn't you?

However special and valuable your body is, think about how you treat it. I'm guessing you're not treating it as good as you could. You're not nourishing it with whole foods everyday, seven days a week. Here's what I've noticed. We still do not pay 'a lot of attention' to it, even though we know we should.
